1. Information I collect

If you use the project enquiry form, I may receive your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website address, market and the information you include about your project. Where available, the enquiry may also include the landing page, general referral source and campaign parameters used to reach the website. I may also retain information you provide through email, a booked consultation or subsequent business conversations.

Basic technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, device information and request logs, may be processed automatically by the website hosting and security infrastructure to deliver and protect the website.

2. How I use your information

• To review and respond to your enquiry.
• To understand your business, project and service requirements.
• To arrange consultations and prepare relevant recommendations, scopes or proposals.
• To maintain necessary business records and protect the website from misuse.

I do not sell your personal information. I do not use information submitted through the enquiry form to send unrelated marketing without permission.

3. Basis for using information

Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, I generally process information because you asked me to respond or take steps towards working together, because it is necessary for a service agreement, because I have a legitimate business or security interest, or because you gave consent. You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the applicable basis.

4. Services that may process information

The website uses service providers for hosting, security, analytics, advertising measurement and form delivery. Google Analytics helps me understand website usage and performance, while the Meta Pixel helps measure visits and the effectiveness of advertising on Meta platforms. Project enquiries are transmitted through FormSubmit to connect@waqarahmad.io. If you choose to book a meeting or visit a social profile, Google Calendar, LinkedIn or Instagram will process information under their own privacy terms.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, reasonable contractual or organisational safeguards should apply to international transfers.

5. Cookies and measurement

With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand information such as page visits, general traffic sources, device and browser categories, approximate location and interactions with the website. These services may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement, audience insights and advertising attribution. I use this information to review website performance, understand campaign effectiveness and improve the visitor journey; it is not used for unrelated email marketing.

Analytics and advertising measurement remain off unless you choose to enable them. You can accept, reject or manage the optional categories in the privacy panel, and change your choice at any time through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Essential hosting, security and the technology that remembers your privacy choice may still be used to deliver and protect the website. External services you choose to visit may set their own cookies and are governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Retention and security

General enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for an active client relationship, contractual records, accounting, dispute handling or legal obligations. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised where reasonably practical.

I use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to your information, correct it, ask for deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, or request a portable copy. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

8. Children’s information

This website and its services are intended for business users and are not directed towards children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
